An owner-operated dental clinic in University Heights, NW Calgary — co-founded by Dr. Gunadi Wibowo and Kal Sangha, and built around long-term patient relationships.
Our story
A new chapter in University Heights
Uxbridge Dental Care opened in August 2024 in the Uxborough Building — a new chapter for Dr. Gunadi Wibowo and Kal Sangha after working together for more than 25 years.
The Uxborough development created the opportunity to start the clinic. They chose the location in part because they wanted to be close to other health professionals, near Foothills Medical Centre and the Calgary Cancer Centre.
Both Gunadi and Kal have been part of the northwest Calgary community for more than 20 years. Uxbridge is new; the people behind it are not.
How we’re structured
Owner-operated care
Uxbridge is an owner-operated clinic co-founded by Gunadi and Kal. That means direct accountability, continuity with the people who built the practice, and a preference for quality over volume.
We are not a corporate chain. We are a local clinic focused on clear communication, thoughtful recommendations, and relationships that last beyond a single appointment.

Our clinic is designed to feel calm and welcoming — a modern space for careful dental care in University Heights.
Technology supports that care. We use an intraoral scanner and intraoral cameras as practical tools for diagnosis, records, and patient education — not as the focus of the visit.

Parking & getting here
Complimentary patient parking is available, with above-ground and underground parking and access to the elevator lobby. The elevator takes you to the third floor, where the clinic entrance is located.

Local roots
Community connection
Gunadi and Kal have deep ties to northwest Calgary — including family involvement in local hockey, figure skating, soccer, and schools. Those connections matter to how they think about serving this neighbourhood.
The clinic also takes part in community moments when it can, such as food bank collections around Christmas and a signed Shohei Ohtani baseball giveaway. These are small, human gestures — not a formal sponsorship program.
