First visits are individualized. They may include familiarization, caregiver discussion, allowing your child to settle at an appropriate pace, assessing what is suitable that day, and discussing next steps. Exam, cleaning, X-rays, fluoride or treatment are not guaranteed at every first visit.

No. Uxbridge Dental Care is a general and family dental practice, not a specialist pediatric dental clinic. When specialized care is appropriate, referral can be discussed.

Let our team know when booking. We can use age-appropriate explanations, familiarization and a paced approach where possible. We do not promise fear-free or pain-free visits.

Not necessarily. Imaging is recommended only where clinically appropriate. Existing records and the reason for the visit may affect whether X-rays are needed.

Not necessarily. Hygiene needs vary by age, cooperation and oral health. Cleaning is included when appropriate for that visit — not as an automatic step every time.
